The T10 format has caught the attention of the fans. A quick-fire game which ends in just 120 minutes is being liked by many. The two successful editions of the Abu Dhabi T10 League are the best example of the same and on the back of it, Qatar Cricket Association (QCA) is looking to organise its own T10 league. If everything goes according to plans, the inaugural season of the tournament will get underway on December 7.
Interestingly, renowned international cricketers are also expected to take part in the Qatar T10 League. The Indian superstar Yuvraj Singh who retired earlier this year is likely to feature in the tournament along with the likes of Mohammad Hafeez, Kamran Akmal, Angelo Matthews among many.
As of now, a total of 73 players have signed up it seems including 17 Qatari players and 24 cricketers from the Associated nations. The player draft event might take place within the next two-three days.

The star studded Qatar T10 League, if goes ahead, will see six teams fighting it out for the glory. Pearl Gladiators, Flying Oryx, Desert Riders, Swift Gallopers, Falcon Hunter and Heat Stormers are the teams which will look to pick the best players available for the competition.
These six players will face each other once in the league stage before the top four teams qualify for the semi-finals. According to the current schedule, the final of the tournament will be played on December 16 with the third place playoff also set to take place earlier in the day. The QCA has also organised an opening and closing ceremony on the respective days to make it a spectacle for the cricket fans. Even the tournament is expected to be full of entertainment with the stars likely to play in it over the 10 days of action.
